Milestones

• 19-01-2001: Farook College Managing committee decided to start a coaching centre for Civil Services Examination.
• 31-01-2001: An academic council constituted for the centre.
• 26-02-2001: Office of the centre inaugurated by Prof. M. Salim, P.V.C, University of Calicut.
• 08-06-2001: Foundation stone laid for P.M. Institute jointly by Janab. K.C.HassanKuttySahib, Secretary, Farook College Managing Committee and Dr. K.K. N. Kurup, Vice Chancellor, University of Calicut.
• 10-08-2001: P.M Institute of Civil Services Examination’s Building inaugurated
• 10-08-2001: Classes started formally.
• 2001to2006-The institute concentrated over foundation classes for the civil services aspirants, which delivered the basics related to U.P.S.C Civil Service Examinations .
• 2007 onwards the institute started mains and preliminary(CSAT) classes ,which delivered the complete Syllabus framed by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for Civil Services Examinations .
